I was wondering if you could furnish me with a bit of information, Zeity, seeing as you are our man on the ground in the Arriva Trains Wales region of the network.
Could you tell me if they are still running bubble car DMUs out of Cardiff Queen Street?

I have been lucky, dry on the way in, look at bad weather during the day, dry on the way home. Winter.
Summer not so lucky, dry on the way in, look at good weather during the day, dry on the way home.

Trip to the trick cyclist went ok.
Obviously Disraeli is still PM.
Came back to find the district nurse knocking on the front door at noon as I drove down the road, despite me asking that the appointment be moved before 10 a.m. or after 1 p.m.
Happily ZeitMater's leg got the attention it needed.
The 3p.m. Drs appointment got cancelled coz the leg looked ok*.
*It looked ok to the district nurse, but it looked pretty unpleasant to me.

Off to the geriatric assessment place shortly.

Which reminds me, I need to check that the appointment is real.

Yes, I did. But then I found the Counting Thread which surely has to be the saddest of the lot!Originally posted by zeitghostEr, very probably.
If you think that's sad, have a look at TPD.
Is that just somewhere to go and up your post count?Leave a comment:

It's a service he provides to make the rest of us feel better about our own commutes. Plus a useful weather report in case anyone ever has to go to Port Talbot.Originally posted by Gittins Gal View PostI can't muster the energy to look myself but have you really posted about your morning train journey every day since July 2008?Leave a comment:
