Sunday afternoon.
Grey all day.
Now pouring down.
Wet. Wet. Wet.
Wanna go out, but it's miserable out there.

Time to buy monthly travel pass.
Impossibly long queue at the ticker office.
Wanted to do it yesterday, but the pouring rain put me off.
Grabbed a coffee and croissant.
Queue still too long to contemplate.
Decide to buy a daily ticket from the machine.
They've changed the menus and I can't find out how to find the ticket I want.
Another coffee.
Think that it's a day to do paperwork at home instead.
Queue diminished so have a go.
Chap in front of me gets whipped out of the queue by a helpful railway employee to help him get his monthly pass via the machine, and I watch. Abject failure when the machine refuses to recognise his destination.
I return to the queue. At least I've jumped one place now.
I reluctantly get whipped out of the queue by the helpful young railway lad.
He guided me through the menu system and it worked, although I'd have never found how to do it myself in less than 15 minutes. Monthly pass in hand I can now proceed to the train, albeit now an hour later than intended.
Weather cool, but still shirt sleeves friendly.
Thought for the day. "Whoever designs these menus ought to be forced to use them every time they need to get in or out of their office".Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.Comment

Cool and grey.
Train on time.
Got asked how to get to the other platforms for the second time this week. (Stairs and lift are in plain view, but this week they are obviously invisibule.)
Mittwoch.
And now it's raining.Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.Comment
