traditional british seaside holiday for me, as always. difference this year is, since i'm not perm any more:

    - i can take two weeks without using up my holiday "entitlement"
    - i don't expect to get endless mobile calls from nervous, control-freak managers who think they own me

Went to Red Sea at Easter for a cheeky week - 2 bank hols in that so only missed 3 day's billing

Off to Sri Lanka and Maldives in about 6/7 weeks time.

As if it's not bad enough having to go to a British seaside resort, you're having to go for double the time

Which one, out of interest? IMHO Bridlington is the only one left which retains its 1950s charm.

have just spent the summer in Singapore on contract so was sort of a working holiday

am thinking of going to somewhere nice like Carribean for my birthday this year, it's a special one, that or buy a stupidly expensive but fun car, not yet decided

thailand and surrounding countries for xmas/new year

                snowboarding in alps around feb

Oman in March for brothers wedding

what is this work you talk of?

classified information old chap. suffice to say, a nice seaside town in a beautiful part of the world. not skegness or some other gaudy prole-hole, but not a twee Weekend Guardian theme-park like padstow, either.

Then Whister for 2 weeks next year hopefully, if we can make the finances work - fook me it's expensive travelling with two kids ...
