A more useful question would be... Imagine yourself 30 years from now. What things would you have wanted to have done that you haven't already? Then do them. Even if it means metallic eyeliner for Xeno.

That's something you should be doing all the time. Faced with a choice, imagine yourself sitting in the rocking-chair at 80: which choice wrenches your gut that you didn't take it? That's the one.
I don't have many regrets about things or places. People, yes. Erma Bombeck said "I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life", which is a good start. And I would have spent more time with my mum and dad while I still could.
I'd do almost everything differently but I'm not bitter about the way things worked out.
I'd have had kids before this year if it had been soley my choice, but I lost out to others' faliure to stick to the Gantt chart on that one.
I'd have paid less attention to my bossy Mum going on and on and on about qualifications - it's a curse being able to do exams but not being at all interested in them.
I'd have been nicer to my Dad before he bought it if I'd known how little time we had.
There are a couple of hearts I shouldn't have broken but mostly things didn't work out too bad.
