    Good man! That's the spirit.

Now, can we get Elton and David over here please? The "experiment" is about to start.

I remember seeing a programme years ago about John Betjeman, and this answer he gave to a similar question always stuck with me (Just spent 10 mins googling to get it right):

Rick Stein’s programme featured a terrific bit of film of Betjeman aged 78, by now ill and in a wheelchair, just months from death, still glorying in the Cornwall coastline, and when asked by an interviewer whether he had any regrets about his life he replied

“Yes, I haven’t had enough sex”
You have to watch the whole programme to really get it, the arty farty poetic build up; this old geezer in a wheelchair answering all these terribly earnest questions then he comes out with that answer to one!

I'd do everything exactly the same way. Where I am now is a direct result of what I did in the past and I'm happy with where I am now. Changing the past risks changing the present and thats something I dont actually want to do.

I'd set off for work 5 minutes earlier, yesterday, as the bus was unusually early. It's this sort of thing that can ruin one's life.
