That's fine, you made a choice to put the welfare of your country way down your list of priorities. I did too. These are personal choices.

But we then lose any right we have to take umbrage and get all Scottishly patriotic whenever there's a Scottish discussion. We certainly have no right to be anti-English, since they have benfitted us personally, not oppressed us. We have a duty of care to be cosmopolitan in outlook and cast the Scots in a better light than they get typically. And this means accepting their faults too.
