Where else but a northern chippie can you buy (and pay good money for) 'scrapings' - which are the burnt frazzled pieces of crapola left over after the fish are all gone?

We never used to pay for scratchings/batter bits. The chippy would give them away along with pea wet (sauce of peas)

It's cus there's fewer people up north, to keep the balance the same they need to be fatter than you poncy southerners; be thankful otherwise Saaarf England would tip into the sea!
