At the last one, I recognised Sockpuppet from the picture that he had on Facebook at the time.
I saw Owlhoot wandering around looking at the groups of people in the pub and asked him on the offchance - "are you by any chance looking for a group of IT geeks?".
Don't worry, you'll find us.Comment

You shouldn't have too much trouble recognising me, unless there happens to be a Sci-Fi convention going on in the pub.Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

BGG beat me to it - given that he recently posted about the long coat and staff (IIRC) that he has, and with Churchill apparently being about nineteen feet tall, I figured the group should be reasonably recognisable.
At the Xmas one, CM had posted a link to the top she was planning to wear - once I saw that I knew I'd tracked them down, and then easily recognised SP from his Facebook photo.
I think CM's back from foreign climes tomorrow - maybe she can be persuaded to post a link to her intended outfit this time as well
ladymuck: if you're on Facebook, RH can hook you up with the Xmas do photos if you PM him (they're invitation only).
If necessary PM me - I don't bite (much) and can link you to an image allowing you to identify me, at the very least (although I might not make it there until about five). Once you've spotted me, you'll have spotted us all (most of them nicer to look at, too).
See you all on FridayComment
