Aw, sorry SA !
It just so happens that I'm planning to be in London on the Saturday, so I thought "why not get a room for Friday as well ?"
I'll travel down Friday afternoonish, check in, drop the suitcase off, and then Mrs BGG will meet me wherever, since she works in London.
Have a hug SA !Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Not to worry - either way I'll be quaffing some beer on Friday, let's hope the weather is nice.
MAJOR UPDATE (That I forgot to announce):
They are shutting their kitchen early on Friday, so we'll grab food from elsewhere, there are shedloads of options around.Comment

I bet the sausage stall next door doesn't shut. Also, the pork pie place opposite does healthy and nutritious snacks."Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny. "

This one, I can actually make - have booked the day off, and everything... Meeting an old colleague (hopefully a couple, actually) down there too, so I'll defo be there.
SA - I know that you're still bitter about me not showing up to the one you organised; I genuinely did have to stay at work...
