That's not true any more.

Barristers and Judges were excluded from jury service, but NuLab changed the rules.

If you do/say/wear something deliberately designed to get you out of doing jury service, the judge can and will find you in contempt of court.

It is akin to lying to the courts. Under oath it would be perjury, but it is most definitely treating the court with contempt.

In my case it would be true. I do view judges and lawyers with contempt.
