River's a 5 minute walk if you get bored ...

Another suggestion, The Marquess Tavern, which would put us in the cacophony that is Islington, with lots of options including the Hope & Anchor and Cuba Libre, some good gig pubs around there too. Not quite by the river I know, but lively.

Also recommended is The Banker, a riverside oldie with a good Fullers range and outside seating. We'll have to reserve a table or two if this is the choice.

Alternatively, The Regalia, for drinks on the high seas... erm... the Thames, Cap'un.

Any more suggestions? Come on Londoners... great watering holes? (bump)

                I'm not coming.

I'm a condescending, snobby Nazi, apparently.

Are you Max Mosley or a member of the Royal Family?
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Ah. Well... I invite you, as I don't share that view, and I think it would be nice to meet up - also, I think you'll be surprised by the quality of the company and conversation at the CUK dos. Based on previous get-togethers and the people who've expressed an interest, it's going to be a nice one.

No, it was you who decided on that description of me.
