II used to work right across the bridge from Doggets - been there many times. But I wouldn't recommend it for a summer bash - it's nto that great a venue ...

Hmm... I think you're right - it's a great pub from an 'activities' POV, but a bit bland. Let's try to go for something with a bit more character. Not keen on chain pubs myself.
