I know,I must have been missing out on the Rapturist theoriesOriginally posted by Lucy View Postd/ you went to a 'progressive' school
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

More ill-informed opinion from the village idiots.
La Nina explains the interannual fall in temperature this year:
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/research...riability.html
Meanwhile as one of the definitions of a scientific theory is that it should predict things, I am willing to bet that the average temperature over the period 2003-2013 (I have selected this period as the fall in tempreature occurs half-way through in 2008) is higher than the average temperature over 1993-2003.Hard Brexit now!

Again a graph carefully constructed to make it seem (at first glance) that the rate of warming is going through the roof, but careful analysis reveals the last ten years have not risen.Originally posted by sasguru View PostMore ill-informed opinion from the village idiots.

Also, if you are going to discount falls due to La Nina, then you must discount all rises in El Nino years.Comment

I completely agree with your last statement - it only proves my point - despite yearly fluctuations up or down, sometimes quite drastic, there is only one way the overall trend is going, and that is up.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostAgain a graph carefully constructed to make it seem (at first glance) that the rate of warming is going through the roof, but careful analysis reveals the last ten years have not risen.

Not quite sure what careful analysis you have done to see that temperature hasn't risen for 10 years, but even if you are right, what does that prove?
In 50 years do you think the world will be hotter or cooler than it is now?Hard Brexit now!
