His only lie was the duration. His CV didn't say he had a degree but it only named the institution not the course. I guess the intention was to imply a degree, but he didn't lie about having one just how long he was there.
e.g. University of Herts 02-04The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment

No one here would dream of embellishing their CV (or leaving stuff out) would they?

I have thought about Alan Sugar's preferences, I think he just doesn't like NORTHERNERS
I mean he didn't like Helene, Clare or Badger, look at every one working with him there, all well spoken Southerners.
Good on ya Alan.Comment

Lee didn't flat out lie on the CV, he wrote the course was for 2 years and underneath on the next line put 'not complete', not exactly telling the whole story but not a flat out lie as people are making it out to be.
There is a video of Lee explaining this, if you watch from 00:36 to 00:40 you will see under the line he draws the CV it states 'HCIMA - Not Complete'

Imagine a pimp putting fibs on his CV - I guess he learnt something of us contractors afterallRule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
