Islamo-Fascist? Clearly the radicalised elements are.

See this page at the website of the Muslim Public Affairs Committee of the UK.

    http://www.mpacuk.org/content/view/6/867/105/

The article is the usual "blame it all on the Zionists and the Jews" stuff, but the graphic-- of a devil-like figure peering out from behind an American flag-- is, I hope everyone will agree, pure antisemitic hate worthy of Der Stürmer.

And no wonder. MPACUK borrowed the graphic from a neo-Nazi website called globalfire.tv.

Asghar Bukhari of MPACUK appeared last month on the BBC's Newsnight and was later described by editor Peter Barron as "a young moderate Muslim who was outspokenly critical of what he saw as the imams' failure to curb extremism in Muslim communities." (Again the question: moderate compared to whom?)

A Saudi princess dictated a book, over a number of years, to an American writer. One of her friends was caught 'making out' with non-muslim men - her father wrapped her in chains and threw her in the family swimming pool and she drowned. A 13 year old girl was made pregnant whilst not married - she was stoned to death - the reason she became pregnant was because she was gang raped. Another woman who ran away with an American was brought back to Saudi and locked in a room - she is still there and completely mad - there she will stay until she dies.

A woman in the UK recently bought some tea towels embroidered with pigs. She admired them and asked when they would have some more in - the shop keeper advised her that they wouldn't be having any more as the Muslims had complained about them.

Make of this what you will

Later on it is financial, not only is Isreal a large purchaser of arms but due to a lack of natural resources they buy a lot of everything. Also jews outside of Israel generally unconditionally support the "homeland" and they have a significant portion of the wealth in the west (quite a few made that wealth from supplying Israel) and use that to financially support political candidates, thus influencing said candidates to support Israel

Then toss in things like that Israel has nuclear weapons and west feels it can relate more to the Israelis (who are in majority western or of recent westeren decent) than the arabs and you begin to understand the "unconditional support"

Actually...the real reason for the wests support of Isreal is a lot less controversial. They are supported becuase they are a friendly nation in a very important part of the world.

I make of it that one of our major allies is in actual fact a huge human rights abuser. And also that you dont like muslims very much. You're not alone on this board I think, seems to be a lot of hate going around at the moment.

Snaw I don't see a lot of hate going around - given the circumstances it's remarkbly restrained.

I don't. I assume that most of us here are intelligent human beings and realise that the actions of an extreme minority in no way represent the majority opinion of Muslims in Britain.

Restrained is withholding retaliation against an enemy or showing clemency to them - something along those lines. Lumping all muslims into the same basket with the extremist fanatics and judging them all guilty accordingly isn't, IMO. Enough people here seem to want to do that however. I'd be happy to be mistaken.

We all realise that the suicide bombers are not indicative of muslims as a whole. Personally I have nothing against muslims per se; what I do object to is the preferential treatment they receive from our Government. I also objected to the fact that, on the very day of the bombings, a senior muslim was demanding extra Police protection for Muslims

Not at all. John was depicting a sector of a society that appears to have conflicting values with ours and the fact that some of those traditions from that society here in the UK are impinging on ours.

You can say things like that snaw without upsetting your comrades you know...
