Let's not confuse Islam with the minority of extreme nutcases who preach the fecked up Jihad version.

The majority aren't suicide bombing, hate preaching, fundamentalists. The majority of muslims in this country live peaceful, law abinding, respectable lives. If we can't recognise that and support them to root out the extremists in their midst we're screwed.

BTW Anne Coulter, she's quite simply a US 'shock jock' she get's noticed by being as extreme as she can be, in a country with lot's of competition on the right. Brains aren't her strong point, selling herself and her books by getting noticed are. And she's mingin.

They are extreme and they are a minority, agreed.....
HOWEVER the hate preaching applies to all Muslims, maybe not in public, as the Koran teaches that all non believers are inhuman scum and once they have passed their usefulness, or will not convert, must be put to death.
Usefulness equates to providing shelter from ones enemies, paying punitive taxes or slavery and other such like. Its all in the Koran, you should read it, it is an interesting book.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Not actually true. (BTW I have read some of it). Islam is very tolerant for people of the book and specifically has rights for us, as dhimmi (2nd class citizens effectively, but with rights).

If you know a little about history you'd know that until modern times Islamic states were probably the most tolerant societies on earth, relative to the alternatives at the time.

The alternative currently is freedom to practice religion or not, this is not liked or tolerated by our Muslim brethren, they want to remove this freedom and turn Britain into an Islamic state.

The early verses are tolerant of people of the book, but i later verses it becomes much more violent towards them, something to do with the Jews and Christians persecuting Mohammed.
As the Muslims believe it is a revealed religion, the later verses supercede the previous ones.
The tolerance is also quoted in the Koran, but that tolerance is limited by a number of rules.
Do you realy find it acceptable that people should be regarded as second class citizens?

Not suggesting anything otherwise, just pointing out that Islam doesn't preach hate against us, just a few warped individuals who try to twist it to justify extremist acts. Let's not judge the whole Islamic community in Britain by a few nutjobs, cause it makes as much sense as judging every Irishman by the actions of the IRA in years gone by.
