    Kerrrrrching!!!
There still remains the impassable chasm to be crossed after reading up on or knowing a product to getting an interview and references sorted (whether through bribery or trickery) though surely?

          K-Pax
          The Sixth Sense
          Pulp Fiction

          Or for something different, try
          Planet Terror
          Starship Troopers
          Dark Star

Edit: no mention of American Beauty yet? Superb film

IMHO, that film is so bad it becomes immensely funny. One hopes that was the intention.....

I love it! Not to be taken seriously, I agree.

For really uber bad, try Space Mutiny. Probably the worst film I've ever seen (and boy have I see a few of those).

For so bad it's hilarious, try Plan 9 from Outer Space. I'd advise watching "Ed Wood" with Johnny Depp beforehand, a wonderful biopic of Ed Wood who wrote and directed Plan 9.

Any of the Pirates if the Caribbean trilogy(?)

                  Boxed sets of :

                  Brokeback mountain

                  Memento

Bloody hell I almost wish it was me going "up on bricks".

Good luck and enjoy the rest.

Sin City is unfeasibly sh!t, and the Pirates of the Carribean films aren't worth the plastic they're stamped on. Other than that, suggestions not bad.
