I always say the best subjective sign of a good film is you're still thinking about it the day after seeing it.
And I mean obviously in general terms, even if with mixed feelings, and not simply indignation at the waste of time spent watching it or the crappy ending or something!
On that basis I'd recommend a film I saw only yesterday at a friend's house Lillies. It has a surreal and striking plot, well acted and quite evocative in it's way, and is now firmly in my "five thousand best films" list.Comment
