Those two programmes along with Peep Show and Top Gear were the only ones worth making the effort to watch. Kevin McKidd is a fantastic actor.

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Obviously, most people will have seen most of these, but there are a lot of good films. Give me a genre you like and I'll suggest more.
Oh yes, Kes is good, as long as you don't get the dubbed American version - I kid you not

I always say the best subjective sign of a good film is you're still thinking about it the day after seeing it.

And I mean obviously in general terms, even if with mixed feelings, and not simply indignation at the waste of time spent watching it or the crappy ending or something!

On that basis I'd recommend a film I saw only yesterday at a friend's house Lillies. It has a surreal and striking plot, well acted and quite evocative in it's way, and is now firmly in my "five thousand best films" list.

          Band of Brothers is excellent.
As is the West Wing - watching all 7 series would keep you occupied for a while!

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
