    Dedication or tighter than tight?

Would you do this if you had a ticket? Obviously the loss of income over the 5 days doesn't make the cheap option that cheap for a contractor.

Even for most people a £2000 vs £85 saving makes it worth while to take the time off.

    Most permies that is.

A chap after my own heart. What satisfaction is there in life that beats saving a few quid?

It was getting impossble to get there even by that route. Therefore I reluctantly turned down a match ticket and decided to watch it down the pub instead.
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Could you not have accepted the offer of a ticket and made a few bob on ebay?

My mate got the tickets, if he makes it out there I'm sure he can get a good price.
