I love nothing more than a bit of DOOM but I must say it is 'buzzing' in my game at the moment, agents who I haven't heard from for years are ringing me and I'm also getting calls from agents asking do I have any mates on the look out. My rate will be going up when I'm next looking !

I've got so fed up with agents this last week or so I've switched my phone off.
And I've not used an agent for many years, so they're all working off a well out of date CV.Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

The demand for a paper round hasn't really been affected by the credit crunch then?Originally posted by threaded View PostI've got so fed up with agents this last week or so I've switched my phone off.

Don't knock paper rounds! When I were a lad, I did nearly all the rounds for this shop up in Edlington (all other kids being well too frightened, especially on the money collection day, to do it). It paid well enough to go to gliding twice a week with up to 1 hour in a Falke T61A on a Thursday afternoon, and a tug up in a Boecian on a Saturday morning and a few winch launches.Originally posted by oracleslave View PostThe demand for a paper round hasn't really been affected by the credit crunch then?
The day I told the chap who owned the shop I had to finish 'cause I was moving away, he cried.Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
