What baffles me is how no more than a high wind (OK hurricane, but even so) can kill 20,000 people and counting.

I mean when we had a hurricane back in 1986 or whenever it was, I think the number killed were in single figures or thereabouts.

Maybe it's the quality of their dwellings. I suppose a corrugated iron shack is more vulnerable, and dangerous when blowing about in bits, than a brick building.

      What a deduction!

There was a massive tidal surge as well.

Many were sleeping at the time of the disaster so were trapped.

I do agree with NG's point of view that we are living in the End Times - thats why I have no pension scheme and have no desire for children - if that turns out to be wrong and its not the End Times then we are all a winner anyway.

It always seems like "end times" when world events are moving quickly. But I think it won't be too long before we're in more "interesting times" as Chinese cynics used to call hectic upheavals, far more than even today.

Then I will go out and kill a few family court judges - as I only have to spend a few years in prison.

So why do you still bother? I can't think of a single CUK member (Wilmslow aside, but he's a gullible permie) who would ever take your posts seriously.
I take it all seriously. But then I believed Chico. And Denny.
