Then I will go out and kill a few family court judges - as I only have to spend a few years in prison.Originally posted by AlfredJPruffock View PostMany were sleeping at the time of the disaster so were trapped.
I do agree with NG's point of view that we are living in the End Times - thats why I have no pension scheme and have no desire for children - if that turns out to be wrong and its not the End Times then we are all a winner anyway.

It always seems like "end times" when world events are moving quickly. But I think it won't be too long before we're in more "interesting times" as Chinese cynics used to call hectic upheavals, far more than even today.Originally posted by AlfredJPruffock View PostMany were sleeping at the time of the disaster so were trapped.

There was a massive tidal surge as well.Originally posted by Marina View PostWhat baffles me is how no more than a high wind (OK hurricane, but even so) can kill 20,000 people and counting.
I mean when we had a hurricane back in 1986 or whenever it was, I think the number killed were in single figures or thereabouts.
Maybe it's the quality of their dwellings. I suppose a corrugated iron shack is more vulnerable, and dangerous when blowing about in bits, than a brick building.

What a deduction!

Why?
Why do we have to go along with it though?
Everybody knows it as Burma, nobody as Myanmar.
Same with the Indians: what's wrong with Bombay, Madras, Calcutta that have now become Mumbai. Chennai and Kolkata (last one is really pathetic).
Next time I'll go for an Indian, should I ask for a chicken Chennai?

Because I know i'm right. I'm right about Perestroika being a deception, i'm right about Russia and China gearing up for war, i'm right about immigration and i'm right about the fact that we are living in the end times. You'll find out the truth soon enough anyway, so it doesn't matter what people say.Every time you make a post here predicting global apocalypse and other such bad things caused by comets, you are rightly derided and mocked for being a mentalist. So why do you still bother?
By the way, disco...can't beat a bit of Tom Moulton on a sunny day.

NickyG, I have a question.
Every time you make a post here predicting global apocalypse and other such bad things caused by comets, you are rightly derided and mocked for being a mentalist. So why do you still bother? I can't think of a single CUK member (Wilmslow aside, but he's a gullible permie) who would ever take your posts seriously.
