I play the sick and poor man a bit to well for my own good. Tonight I was given a free DVD player. “It works, but we can’t find the remote. We thought you’d like it”. I got home and indeed it does work. Unfortunately, most of my DVD’s are region one and this play wont work with them, but I suppose it’s save me 20 quid down Argo’s. (I’ve already checked and there isn’t a hack for it.)

I’m going to have to ‘come out’ one day, but it’s going to get me a good kicking and probably grassed up to the taxman too.

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Would one of those generic remotes work? You can get them from Argos for about twenty quid
