I got a text earlier from Game because they are opening a load of stores at midnight on Monday for the first sales. OK I want to play the game but not that much
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

    I preferred version 1!

You get text messages from your local computer game shop??

The most fun I had in the GTA series was getting on the super bike in GTA2 and seeing how far you'd fly when you hit a car at a junction at top speed.

I bought both consoles last time and was planning to buy a PS3 this time round as well, but the 360 is great. GJ is right, so far every title is superior on the 360. Virtua Tennis anyone?

For me there's just no reason to buy a PS3. There are no killer titles, no backward compatibility anymore, no dual shocks it's just flagging behind. Condemned, Gears, Crackdown, HALO3 on the 360 were fantastic. Xbox live is truly amazing. It's only noisy if you have the TV muted when your playing games you really don't notice it.

        360 & GTA4 @ 200 (Console ~160)
        PS3 & GTA4 @ 320 (Console ~280)

At almost half the price of the PS3 theres no reason not to buy one. As for the RROD scare, all consoles now have 3 years warranty.

I wanted blu-ray as I watch movies much more than I play games, so the intrusive noise of the 360 was a massive disappointment.

I really wanted to prefer the 360 as I hate how Sony keep bringing out their versions of technology and trying to force their adoption, before usually backing down when they're shown the error of their ways. Shame HD-DVD's lost the battle.

Traded my 360 in for a PS3 a couple of weeks ago, and so far it feels a good decision. Started getting blu-ray movies through from Lovefilm.
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it
Feist - I Feel It All
Feist - The Bad In Each Other (Later With Jools Holland)

I've got the PS3 and use it a lot more for media than for gaming. Its great for watching downloads from the internet (including HD downloads), blueray, dvd upscaling is superb.
I'm using a 4gb flash stick to store the media, its pretty handy as I copy stuff off the PC which i use to download and then view it straight off the stick without having to copy it over.
I got the dvd style remote control for it as well, which is very handy

Does the stick need to be in a particular format?

Can you play most divx/xvid stuff? I think I read there's a recent upgrade for the PS3 to allow this?

Could do with the DVD remote seeing as I sometimes hit stop when trying to pause a movie using the game controller.

I guess its horses for courses, I don't plan on giving up standard DVD's for a long time yet and when I play games I like to play online so for me the 360 is the better option at the moment, there are some good exclusives in the pipeline for the PS3 but none would persuade me to give up Xbox live.

GTAIV has exclusive downloadable content for the 360. But you'll have to pay for it. EA recently tried to add ‘crippleware’ to a forthcoming game in the hope that people would pay to unlock certain guns, the bad publicity forced them to backtrack and remove it, Tis the way it's all going I'm afraid.

In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Contractor = money no object, Shirley?

                      The PS3 is for gamers.

The XBOX360 is for people who love FPS games.

                      The Wii is for non-gamers.

If you're a sad arse like me you also need an N64, SNES, MegaDrive, PC Engine, Neo Geo and Saturn.

Edit: PS2 and XBOX too, natch.
