STAFF at the European HQ of credit card outfit Capital One learned yesterday that 750 of them are headed for the dole queue.
IT and operations workers at the Nottingham HQ are being chopped 'to improve productivity', says the company, which had employed 1,750 people.
A spokesman said: "Whilst this was a difficult decision for the UK management team, it is recognised that this is part of the ongoing effort to ensure the business framework is in a place that supports an overall competitive strategy in the UK market."The "Fit" hits the "Shan"Comment
