It is looking rather scary out there.Originally posted by Sockpuppet View Post
My house is on the market for £20K less than others not as nice - on the market for a fortnight, very prominant ad in the paper, and on rightmove. No interest whatsoever.
Looks like the estate agents are bricking it. -
And all because banks wont lend to each other. If it carries on much longer it could get very interesting...Originally posted by Sockpuppet View PostComment

nice is a relative term. You may think its nice and it probably is. Then again I've viewed houses where the people thought they were amazing and the dogs dangles but not to my taste.Originally posted by Wilmslow View PostIt is looking rather scary out there.

Best idea to sell a house is to magnolia all the walls. Will sell faster.
Fortnight is nothing. This isn't 3 years ago where it would have sold before being listed. You'll just have to drop the price more.Comment

I can't see the problem? El Gordo is planning next week to nationalise losses and privatise profits for city bankers.
The banks simply swap worthless sub-prime tainted collateral for tax payers money.....boomed!
House prices will double although the middle classes will be bankrupted footing the bills.
