Despite the avatar, you're Helmut Kohl and I claim my 5 deutchmarks [sp?]Originally posted by bogeyman View PostI find the boiled turnip and pigs trotter one goes well with a nice Barolo.
Apparently when dining with Maggie Thatcher at some summit Kohl ordered his favourite dish, boiled pig's stomach, and then asked for seconds and thirds. Maggie later remarked "My God, that man is so *German*"

I cooked pigs trotters a few weeks ago - very nice - our local butcher even gave them to us for free as no-one buys them (a delicacy in Hungary for instance).
Cooked them in a gulyás with lots of spicy paprika...mmmm, lovelyIf you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment

Save money buy a bag of barbecue beef crisps, and some wall plugs, eat without chewing properly, and regurgetate them. The authentic smell and taste at a fraction of the priceThe court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment
