Beats me why anyone would run 26 miles when they could drive or hop in a taxi. What a bunch of muppets!

Well, the traffic driving down to London on the M1 last night was the worst I have seen it in about 2 years so maybe that's something to do with it. I don't know why it was so bad though - any ideas?

Most of the older runners I've met take it up when they are old

Most of the younger runners give it up when they are old.

It's not the winning that counts, it's taking part without suffering lifelong joint problems or dying. That's reward enough.
