    Most of the older runners I've met take it up when they are old

    Most of the younger runners give it up when they are old.

    Well, the traffic driving down to London on the M1 last night was the worst I have seen it in about 2 years so maybe that's something to do with it. I don't know why it was so bad though - any ideas?

    London roads were practically empty this morning

    Would that be because all those hundreds of thousands of city bods who staggered round the London marathon yesterday are laid up in bed today feeling like 90 year old invalids?

    Beats me why anyone would run 26 miles when they could drive or hop in a taxi. What a bunch of muppets!
