Don't tell me that. I do the A34 6 times a week at the moment, but I strongly suspect the next job will be in Cambridge.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

There had been a spillage of some sort under one of the bridges between the bow roundabout and the Old Ford junction.

One thing I hate is the large quantity of speed humps that the mongs working for the local council have authorised in a pathetic attempt to reinforce their "Speed Kills" middleclass angst.

I mean, one knuckledragger thought it would be a good idea to lay a big one outside a pub and turn it into a zebra crossing.

Problem is, as the cars slow down for the humps, people think they are stopping for them and walk across the road.

My wife almost got hit that way although to be fair I was making beeping sounds at her...

And the number of speed limit signs that vary from 30 to 50 back to 30 then 40mph all within a mile of each other, hidden by trees, a huge increase in speed cameras... more people now travel at 30mph on roads that used to be the national speed limit but are now limited to 50mph.

All in the blind pursuit of safety of course... tuliping overpaid, under accountable mongs...
If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.

I am pissed off that there is no grave period after MOT expires - they should have allowed to drive for up to 2 weeks provided you already booked the test. I had to rediscover walking

Eh? If pedestrian is on the crossing you must stop.

Only if there are witnesses about.
