As for Earth Hour. I hope there's lights on down the curry house I'll be at. Then again there might be some nice ladies on the next table, and I may have trouble feeling my way to the door.

Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

I'm against this sort of thing, I'll explain why below...

Because there's a very real possibility that if everyone switches their lights back on at the same time it will cause bloody power cut so I will be forced to have an unscheduled earth hour.

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

i was under the impression that activities like this caused MORE stress on the national grid and so actually slightly increased the energy usage?

Because I hate, with a deep and abiding loathing, this type of woolly, stupid, foolish, neutronium denseness, that tries to through a guilt trip comparable to the catholic church to the power google, dictating my actions.

                Now, **** off and die.

Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Can't they schedule this type of activity much later in the evening when it will affect less people?
