You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

So you are ashamed to produce a like-for-like comparison? I am not. I doubt you've spent even 30% of the time studying economics than I did in my single (albeit the biggest) degree.Originally posted by sasguru View PostIt's because you is poor and fick, innit?Comment

So what do you think of the epistemological position that economics is a load of crap?Originally posted by AtW View PostSo you are ashamed to produce a like-for-like comparison? I am not. You're like an idiot savant who can recite pi to 5 octo-vigtillion places with no understanding of its significance or importance.

How many degrees will it take you to understand how the value in terms of money is totally disjoint from the complexity of the work? Do you need a PhD for that?Originally posted by AtW View PostWhat exactly these peopla re doing? Conducting cancer research? Designing new processors? Making new energy research? Finding cheap ways to deal with bubble gum crap on streets? No - they are there to engage in complex gambles with derivaties, which is hardly brillian - totally foolish.I've seen much of the rest of the world. Will you show similiar degree breakdown for yourself or not? I am not interested in your grades, I just want to see module titles and approximate lecture hours.
Did you have Game Theory? Did you have Higher Maths? Did you do Stats modelling?Comment

We are not talking about earning power. What we are talking about is who is better schooled to make conclusions about macroeconomical matters. Look at my degree and see what I studied there and for how long. Now show me relevant modules for yours and let's compare.Originally posted by Francko View PostHow many degrees will it take you to understand how the value in terms of money is totally disjoint from the complexity of the work? Gawd, does any professional who's spent a few years out of uni still rate any of that b0ll0cks? Might as well talk about what higher/a level results you got. Sorry but respect comes with experience, most definitly not because you sat through a few modules and got some decent grades ...Originally posted by AtW View PostI've shown you a complete list of modules that I took and my grades. Go on show me a similar list for your degree. I'd like to compare titles of modules and hours of lectures you took for them with what I had.Hang on - there is actually a place called Cheddar?? - cailin maith
