London is the hotspot for rich people all over the world as a safe haven to do business and invest your money in a safe way. If the pound is falling that has a tremendous impact for all the UK economy. Do you think these rich boys like to trade in a currency whose value decreases every day?
Also a big success of London is due to the attraction of the most brilliant people on the planet. Many of them will decline to other parts of the world if the pounds is reducing their margin and making the place less competitive (pretty much what this has happened already). Of course, this does not apply to benefits scrounging or parasistes living off family wealth but unfortunately those will not be of any help to the UK economy.I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.Comment

It is sad for me to see the birthplace of industrial revolution to outsource all that to 3rd world countries - even now Tata is buying best known UK car marques, hecks, Germans bought Rolls Royce and Bentley.
According to sadguru this is all fine. But USA, Japan and especially Germany managed to keep a lot of manufacturing - even when they don't manufacture they actually DESIGN stuff, where as the UK has to import it.
