I think this idea should be extended so that all women are implanted with a number of dormant foetus's, manufactured using DNA from responsible adults and which can be activated by state officials at any time using a remote transmitter.I'm alright Jack -
8 quid????Originally posted by Pickle2 View Post
yeah, cause its the one you qualify, its somehow different to the rest....
Its still money flowing from me, to you, for doing nothing in return. If you are so "not workshy", why not send the nipper round to my gaff to clean the car for free in return for your child benefit?
What about prescriptions, ever had one of them and only paid 8 quid for it?
I get mine free, I must be a right waste of space
Erm no, she has spent her time on benefits bettering herself, why does this make her a workshy layabout?Originally posted by SizeZero View PostMy sister was a mother in her teens, her 'wonderful boyfriend' lost his job, then another, then another, then her, then he went downward into drugs etc. He didn't drag her, or their children with him, thank <chosen diety>. She was and still is in social housing. She is now a qualified midwife - which has taken her four years of study AND shiftwork, and juggling childcare. I'm proud of her, and she's doing more for society than you.
You however would have had her lined up at gunpoint with 'the rest of them', written off as beneath you. True?
HTH
You obviously don't like your sister very much if you think she is a workshy layabout for going to college to get qualified in something worthwhile while working shifts, I'm glad your not my sister

Half the responsible women I know don't want any children."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Some are arguing at cross-purposes here...
My point is around the family in the community, about the work ethic and the like.
Diver's was concerned with people having kids as a means to getting benefits.Comment
