Pretty much like the Catholic Church...

What I was trying to say is that all Muslims are Muslims irrespective of their particular sect.
As the Catholics, Anglicans and Presbyterians are Christian
The ordinary Muslim probably sees "Christian" as opposed to Catholic, Anglican etc.
    It's Deja-vu all over again!

      Nope, they're not.

      Try calling a "Shi'a" a "Sunni" and vice-versa...

Not strictly true - sunnis (The extreme kind anyway) don't class Shia as really muslim.

Soldiers know that when they sign up they may one day have to go to war and YES they will get shot at and YES they may get killed.

          Jeez..
But a soldier also has to know that he is been sent to war on a Just cause - not on the back of a pack of lies.

NO HE DOESN'T. A soldiers job is to do what he/she is told not to question why he/she is in a particular country. This is where people get it all wrong.

An occupational hazard of contracting job is that you may have to work away from home, or have less holidays. Soldiers crying 'no fair' when they get shot at is like the contractor who has creamed in ££'s for 5 years and then cries foul when he is out of work for 6 months.

            UNDERSTAND??

Generally I agree with you but there is a bit of a difference between 6 months on the bench and dying.

I'm sure a lot of people sign up to serve and defend the country not to go and secure America's oil supply 3000 miles away.
Some people are like slinkys, totally pointless but the thought of pushing them down a flight of stairs never fails to put a smile on your face.
