Apple users: smug, stupid, or lightyears beyond any PC owner?
I tried a Mac where there was one for casual use in the coffee room of a web developer client site I was at.
The thing I just couldn't get used to was the ridiculous one-button mouse. It's like trying to run, and then remembering you only have one leg - you just keep falling over!

I got fed up constantly patching my XP laptop so bought a powerbook. I now have 3 macs as they are easy to use (and, imho, more secure). I don't have AV on any of them but I probably will as time goes on.
But thats just my experience. A colleague who uses Ubuntu showed me it the other day and that looks pretty good too.

As for Vista, jeez!!
I tried Ubuntu some years ago and was impressed with it. I have not used it for work though so no idea whether or not it would suit me....
I was a bit put off by the nightmare that was installing a wireless adapter...seemed to be a long winded affair...
