    Oh dear....

When number 2 came out I went and bought my wife a Corolla Verso, now with number 3 on the way I'm planning on something sporty with two seats for myself as we won't all fit into mine, and we have a family car for the wife.

the excuse to remember is, we won't all fit in my car anyway dear so I may as well get something sporty so that when we both have a night out to ourselves we can do it in style!!

Now I just need to get the money together to afford something sporty with 2 seats....

It is shiny but not that new! 03 with 75k on it. Was only £6k so we can sell my Golf and the Mrs' Peugeot and bank a grand As I work from home we only do about 6k miles a year so should last me 10 years at least! My Golf lost me about a grand a year and swore I would never be so foolish again. Hence knocking back the beemers etc. Had the cash in the bank to buy could not bring myself to do it...

Is there any car out there duller and less interesting than a Passat?

Mine is an 03 as well. A more modest 40k on the clock, but the missus is currently racking up the miles with her 300mi/week commute whilst I have her TT (but hardly drive it further than down to Tesco once a week)

No highline or other mods on mine, just a diesel 4motion or whatever it's called.
It's about time I changed this sig...

seems like 03 was a good vintage for Passats

                    4motion.... nice

Toyota Aygo does the trick in London. £35 tax, 60mpg, group 1 insurance and now no congestion charge. Less money into Gordos coffers.
And I think free parking in certain London boroughs as it's now in the same class as an electric.
                      Hard Brexit now!
