And as a bonus it costs a fair bit less and has 4" more rear leg room. Not only that, but the Skoda factory produces the best build quality in the entire Audi/VW group if you believe Honest John in the Telegraph.

I was thinking the other that the Suzuki Swift would make a good city car choice. I like the styling compared with a lot of the dull looking city boxes.

Yes I like the looks too, but it doesn't have the advantages I quoted. I'm well chuffed with no congestion charge and, I think, free parking in some central london boroughs.
It's a no brainer.

For city dwellers the Aygo looks like a winner. Not much good for in the country and needing to take a shed load of stuff for the odd holiday. Our weekly shop would not fit in one of those!
