There are some nice bits but not worth the hassle IMO
-Austrailian barman have been replaced by Eastern Europeans, who are mostly female
-You can get a taxi easily if you don't live south of the river
-Most Londoners are not cockneys as they are not born within the sound of Bow Bells
-Nothing wrong with a system that gets you from A to B without having to go above ground except on the outskirts.
-There is plenty of public transport in the day ( taxi, river, train, bus and tube) without needing to use your car plus why anyone would want to sit in traffic going at 2-5mph is beyond me
-There are better shopping centres in the outer zones of London and there are no tourists.

In fact if you live in London you have no need to spend your leisure time in the centre.

As opposed to Manchester for that filthy, reasonably priced, crime ridden, unfriendly ambience.

Seriously, I lived in Manchester for 20+yrs and it's every bit as bad as London In places, even the traffic isn't much better.

Manchester must have less tourists than London, though?

Not all drinks are reasonably priced in Manchester.
