    News blackout

All this nonsense about Prince Harry 'fighting' in Afghanistan - does no one worry how the entire world's media were silenced and agreed not to reveal the secret? And this went on for months.

How often have we had global news media blackouts? Would we even know.

I was shocked to hear this news but also glad that Harry didn't get away with doing his job.

For once it was good to see the media all co-operating
Thats the way the cookie crumbles

I would be more worried about real news being blacked out than Royal/celeb gossip and tittle tattle - in fact I'd be in favour of a pretty much permanent ban on "Royal news"

the Prince is a boy who , without having a clue about what he is participating in , is proud to play with the real metal and brag himslef before his mates who play xbox. pity.

Could someone translate this into English?

              What?

He's serving his country and putting his life on the line.

What are you doing you tw4t?

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

Serving his country - my @rse, its just spin.

The real soldiers are the ones who do all the dirty work day in day out, and you never get to hear about them too often.

This spoilt royal brat goes there for a few months, no doubt fully protected, a few pics of him 'in action, serving his country' and we think he's a hero.

He wanted to go to Iraq but he couldn't as that was really dangerous!

There was no media blackout when Prince Andrew served during Falklands. I distictly remembered his departure was celebrated and admired by the public. Why now the need for a blackout?
