The little icon was supposed to indicate that I find this point of view highly annoying. It is prevalent amongst no-nothing dumbo managers. It is not one I agree with. A good programmer paid the same rate as an average programmer will be 20x better value for money. And 50x better than a bad programmer.
FWIW, yes, I am a developer and I'm very very good - I write robust, easily understandable, maintainable and flexible code at around three times the cost (per day) and around five times faster than my offshore colleagues. And my code works.
