Well - programming is a commodity, a semi-skilled job at best. One programmer's pretty much the same as another, so it makes sense to off-shore.

The little icon was supposed to indicate that I find this point of view highly annoying. It is prevalent amongst no-nothing dumbo managers. It is not one I agree with. A good programmer paid the same rate as an average programmer will be 20x better value for money. And 50x better than a bad programmer.

FWIW, yes, I am a developer and I'm very very good - I write robust, easily understandable, maintainable and flexible code at around three times the cost (per day) and around five times faster than my offshore colleagues. And my code works.

Oh yes. It's so easy that any retard could do it - and in fact, thousands of retards and cretins make a meager living from coding. It's true! I've actually seen them in huge herds working for EDS, Accenture et al.
