you got to learn OOP.
you got to learn the .net framework
you got to learn the NEW DataAccess(off line and online)
you got to learn the NEW controls
You got to learn C# syntax and semantics.
.. and of course I am assuming you know SQL/ Oracle
less than a week each/// and remeber the .net Libs are massive..
I think your best bet would go permy doing C# junior role... stick it out 6-12 months then look at contracting...

If anyone wants to find out which companies offer the easiest interview process and what level of technical test they conduct (if any), I've got an ebook you can download.
Only costs £50 a pop, payable over 12 months at £12.50/month. APR typical.
Funny thing is I compiled the list by applying for every single IT vacancy on jobserve, and after spending the last 3 months doing nothing but interviews I've been offered 27 permie rolls, 15 contracts, and directorships with EDS and Accenture. The secret is to brylcreem your eyebrows. Seriously.Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

Alternatively, ditch all that and just learn Microsoft's swanky new Silverlight instead. .Net is history, eventually.Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

remember
Your grammar is incorrect as well as you have left out a few words. A better sentence would've been something like the following:
"I think your best bet would be to go permy...etc etc

It's when they either give you a paper based one or just reel off loads of irrelevent questions that I hate.
"How do you define (in c) an array of pointers to functions" (and no, "look it up in the book" isn't a pass).
That was it, that was my interview test.
It was stupid. I bet that there are some 'book' geeks who could answer this and yet wouldn't have the faintest clue as to a practical use for doing this (which ISTM is much more important).
And 20 years on, I'm reckoned to be the C expert at most of the places I work, and I still don't carry this piece of information around in my head.
