    Response - icy look and said 'It is NOT funny'.

    Had to look the other way before cracking up with laughter and more stares!

                Well, 'guru' is not offensive word, it actually means ' genius'

                A friend on mine kept calling me that , and explained you are called 'guru' just in a good teasing sort of way.
