Given up
After 20 years continuous lucrative work (SAP), I'm throwing in the contracting towel. After this gig finishes, I'm starting a permie position in an outsourcing firm and I Have to say business is booming for them.
You know, I've never chased a contract and have worked mostly from home with no breaks - just rolled into the next gig straight away, So, why do this when there are still many contracts?
I'm still asking this myself but I really think its different this time and I ain't getting any younger. I'm thinking that I can review the situation in a few years and hopefully, get experience in the only thing thats hot in IT - cutting costs by outsourcing.
Good luck guys
I'm just going outside.........Comment
