It's available on the nokia website.Originally posted by OwlHoot View PostDo you have a link for this? Someone I know has an N95 and would really appreciate an upgrade.
I got my phone unlocked when I was having an "extended lunch" in London once.
They also debranded it. Only charged me a tenner too.
When I got back to the office I downloaded the "Nokia Software Updater" and downloaded the newest firmware. Bobs ya dad.
Runs sweet with the real Nokia software on. The difference is astonishing, it's like a different phone.Eat Right, Exercise, Die Anyway.Comment

That's exactly what I did but without the 'unlocking', mine still runs like a dog so I guess it's the unlocking that makes the difference ?Originally posted by miffy View PostWhen I got back to the office I downloaded the "Nokia Software Updater" and downloaded the newest firmware. Bobs ya dad.

Yeah, you need to get that branded junk off it.Originally posted by Bod View PostThat's exactly what I did but without the 'unlocking', mine still runs like a dog so I guess it's the unlocking that makes the difference ?

Most mobile shops will unlock them and they'll usually de-brand as well if you ask nicely! There are people on eBay doing return by post service, but I guess it depends on how much you trust people!
The "branded versions" of firmware are usually a few revisions behind the "normal" nokia firmware too.
I promise you once you've got the latest regular firmware on, you'll be blown away!Eat Right, Exercise, Die Anyway.Comment
