Self Assessment deadline of 31st Jan....

Worried I will get a £100 fine.

I am a company director, but company not traded.

Is it the 31st Dec we need to file accounts by, or, is that just for individuals and not account accounts?

Advice VERY welcome....

Took a look at hmrc.gov and companies house but cannot find anything useful.

yes 31/1 is just personal tax returns.

Company tax return deadline is x months after your company year end.

Did they issue you with a Tax Return? If so you HAVE to fill it in...

It does annoy me a bit how all these forms (SA100, P35, P11d, CT return etc.), and then the payment deadlines, seem to be equally spread throughout the year so I'm always in the middle of one or the other.

When I'm Prime Minister I'll have it so we get them all over with in one go and then enjoy the other 11 months of the year.

Have you got no Accountant?

No accountant - using brolly then was going to use my own company and get an accountant. However, as going to the dark side, and contract coming to an end, the company has had no money through the books. Bizarre.
