I ahvent given blood in the UK, not sure where to go. DOnt even know where my nearest hospital is. I would give blood if I noticed somewhere nearby, I dont mind people sticking needles into me.. I actually find it kinda nice in a morbid fascination way.

I am not allowed to give blood in NZ as I lived in the UK during the mad cow scare.

When I get back to NZ, I am going to start my own blood bank at the local hospital, its free and seems a good way of making sure I have a bit there for emergencies. Plus I have a blood type which means I can give to people not of my type, so will be handy if wife or babies need it (although I wonder if I will be allowed to give it to family even considering the mad cow thing...)

        Give blood?

        Give?

I'm a Lancastrian, I wouldn't give them the steam off my piss!

But seriously, being of type "B+" I donate blood regularly, you never know when you might need some back...

Amazingly being A- I am rarer than B+ - I am stunned. Quite bad news in fact.

Mind you I am still not rare enough to be allowed to donate 4 times a - bah!

How efficient is kleenex as a storage medium, or is that just for practice?

Is it true that your sperm bank is overdrawn?
