I used to give every 13 weeks - 4 times a year - but now you can only do it 3 times in any one year period?

Have you got a very rare type?

They won't let you see the needle.

I've tried looking many times as I'm not afraid of needles. I'm actually more scared when I can't see the needle which actually freaks medical staff out.

BTW blood service convinces many people to start donating at uni........

No, they send me a letter and they turn up at the BRCS hall every 3 months so as long as it is 12 weeks since my last one, they take blood. Infact, once I miscounted and it was only 10 weeks but they still took it....
